I regularly post Fusion 360 tutorials and projects to my youtube channel.
I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
I spent my day designing and 3D printing - the next best thing to being with family because you know, pandemic.
My wife made her first turkey while getting play by play instruction from her mom on Zoom.
Strange times, but we still have a lot to be thankful for.
As you enjoy the leftovers and plan your Christmas shopping list, I hope you also have a “gifts I’m gonna make” list.
These are the best gifts because they are just as rewarding for the giver/maker as they are for the receiver.
Every year, I enjoy making a few gifts for friends and family.
Today’s idea comes from a request I received from a friend to make some USB charger name tags (yeah, I guess that’s a thing).
These are simple to make and you can print out a batch of them in one go. Plus they’ll make for a great stocking stuffer.
My experience is that people love personalized gifts and especially so if it’s 3D printed.
Check out the video tutorial above.
My big aha! moment with Fusion 360 happened when I finally understood how to use Constraints. Get my free Fusion 360 Constraint Cheat Sheet and see what I mean.
